To qualify, candidates must pass a required written competency test for certification and be listed on the Illinois Department of Public Health website.
Compensation:
Pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to job-specific requirements, individual experience, internal pay equity, and organizational needs/budget considerations, all in alignment with our RML's compensation philosophy. Additionally, you may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program based on both individual and organizational performance.

Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality, age-appropriate care to adult and geriatric patients, assisting with daily activities such as hygiene, turning, ambulation, feeding, and post-mortem care.
- Monitor vital signs, intake/output, and conduct bedside tests (e.g., blood glucose) with prompt reporting in Meditech.
- Maintain patient safety, including adhering to isolation and protective equipment protocols.
- Support respiratory care by adjusting tracheostomy masks, ventilator tubing, and other essential respiratory equipment.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment by responding to call lights, supporting patient orientation, and assisting with admissions and discharges.
- Engage in team meetings, continuing education, and committees, meeting annual clinical and performance requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA), documentation of nursing fundamentals, supervised clinical experience, and competency testing.
- Demonstrated completion of PCT competencies.
- CPR certification required
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and push heavy equipment for extended periods.
