Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Vandalia Correctional Center, Vandalia, IL 62471
Employing OrganizationCenturion – provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Shift and Hours3:00PM–11:00PM, Monday–Friday. Every other weekend and every other Tuesday/Friday off.
PayHourly rate: $35 per hour
ResponsibilitiesProvide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients in the facility. Work under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, responding to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one
- Active certification in Cardio‑Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screening and criminal background check
