Position

We are seeking a dedicated Admissions Director to coordinate all admissions and transfers to the facility while marketing our services in the surrounding referral communities. The Admissions Director plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless transition for new residents while driving census growth through strategic outreach and relationship-building.

Admissions Director Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in nursing home or long-term care admissions and/or marketing
  • In-depth knowledge of the admission process and payer sources, including Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, and Managed Care
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer systems and databases
  • Ability to work well in a team setting with a positive and enthusiastic approach to tasks
  • Reliable and self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
What You Will Do
  • Oversee the complete admission process for new and returning residents
  • Manage the referral process and build relationships with hospitals, providers, and community partners
  • Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families
  • Communicate new admissions, discharges, and readmissions to the interdisciplinary team (IDT)
  • Meet and greet new residents and family members
    , obtaining required documentation and signatures
  • Collaborate with the Business Office on daily census reconciliation
  • Participate in morning and afternoon meetings to stay informed on census and admissions needs
  • Assist in bed management and room moves as needed
