Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Oncology Infusion

Position Location:

Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital – Barrington

Hours per week: 40 hours.

Schedule:

8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday to Friday with some weekend rotation.

Pay Range: $35.50 – $53.25 per hour.

Join our Outpatient Oncology Infusion department at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, where you will find a supportive, collaborative and highly engaged team dedicated to safely serving our special patients with compassion.

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Provider Card/Certificate within 30 days of hire. (Preferred upon hire.)
• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) preferred for oncology departments; CRNI (Certified Registered Nurse Infusion) for non-chemotherapy infusion settings.

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence-based practice and clinical decision making, and communicate compassionately while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

• Base compensation listed within the pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training.
