Location: Barrington
Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Oncology Infusion
Position Location:
Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital – Barrington
Hours per week: 40 hours.
Schedule:
8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday to Friday with some weekend rotation.
Pay Range: $35.50 – $53.25 per hour.
Where You Will WorkJoin our Outpatient Oncology Infusion department at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, where you will find a supportive, collaborative and highly engaged team dedicated to safely serving our special patients with compassion.
Qualifications- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Provider Card/Certificate within 30 days of hire. (Preferred upon hire.)
- OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) preferred for oncology departments; CRNI (Certified Registered Nurse Infusion) for non-chemotherapy infusion settings.
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Use evidence-based practice and clinical decision making, and communicate compassionately while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
- Base compensation listed within the pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training.
- Premium pay such as shift, on‑call, and more based on job role.
