Location: Wadsworth
Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join a daytime healthcare team at a correctional facility.
Responsibilities- delivering compassionate, patient-centered nursing care
- administering medications and treatments
- completing assessments and monitoring patient conditions
- responding to medical concerns and emergencies
- maintaining accurate electronic medical records
- collaborating with healthcare providers and correctional staff
- ensuring continuity of care in compliance with clinical standards and policies
- relevant nursing license
- ability to handle medical emergencies
- strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- teamwork orientation
- consistent 12-hour day shifts, rotating schedule including every other weekend, support from experienced leadership, opportunities to develop assessment skills, and serving an underserved patient population
