Job Description:

* Takes call to provide 24/7 coverage, including weekends and holidays.

* Conducts forensic examinations and evidence collection for victims of sexual assault.

* Ensures competency and certification as defined by relevant state councils against sexual violence.

* Collaborates with medical and law enforcement professionals to support victims.

* Maintains accurate documentation and follows legal protocols for evidence handling. Provides compassionate care and emotional support to victims.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Basic computer skills - must be able to navigate Microsoft windows based programs. [Required]

Education:

* Associate's of Nursing [Required]

* Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

* 1+ year hospital experience [Required]

Licenses and

Certifications:

* Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]

* Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

* Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner - Adult (SANE-A) [Preferred]

* Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) [Preferred]
