Position Highlights
Hourly Pay Range: $65.00 - $75.00 (average $70/hr). Full time/part time per diem; 12‑hour shifts. Availability:
Monday‑Friday 8am‑8pm; weekends/holidays 8am‑4pm. Rotates among: 519 S Roselle Road, Schaumburg, IL; 21481 N Rand Road, Kildeer, IL; 15 S McHenry Road, Buffalo Grove, IL; 199 W Rand Road, Mt Prospect, IL.
- Under the direction of collaborating physicians, provides care to patients.
- Obtains detailed history and performs physical examinations.
- Orders imaging, lab tests, and diagnostic procedures and interprets results.
- Instructs patients on the prescribed therapeutic regimen.
- Maintains records and writes progress notes on status, treatments, and procedures.
- Follows patients through their course of treatment in the immediate care setting.
- Collaborates with physicians and the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Prescribes pharmacologic and non‑pharmacologic therapies as appropriate.
- Demonstrates evidence‑based practice.
- Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of practice in the specialty.
- Assesses the learning needs of patients and families across the continuum.
- Employs strategies, interventions and teaching to promote, maintain, and improve health.
- Works autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams.
- Positively contributes to safety outcomes and promotes high‑quality patient experiences.
- Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of service line goals.
- Supports the strategic plan of the organization.
- Adheres to all Endeavor Health policies and procedures.
- Master’s degree in nursing (MSN or MS) or NCCPA certified PA.
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department or ICU experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant.
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license and Illinois Advanced Practice Nurse license (for APRNs);
Illinois PA license (for PAs). - Illinois controlled substance license and DEA certification.
- Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross (must include an in‑person component).
- Proficiency in suturing and suture removal, I&D, ear irrigation, pelvic floor examinations.
- POC testing skills: CBC/BMP, COVID/Flu, Strep, INR, and advanced imaging.
