Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN), Days, Full-Time Position

Location: Hamilton Memorial Hospital District Medical/Surgical Unit

Employment Type: Full-time (36 hours per week)

Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 a.m.

- 7:00 p.m.

Wage Range: $30.95 - $44.57

Hamilton Memorial Hospital District (HMHD) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical/Surgical Unit. This full-time position offers a dynamic and rewarding role, providing essential care in a 25-bed facility within a Critical Access Hospital. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.

You will collaborate with a team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs the primary functions of a registered nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of all assigned patients ages newborn through geriatric.
  • Responsible for meeting established standards of nursing care.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and recovery processes.
  • Implement infection control measures to maintain a safe environment for patients.
  • Assist with airway management and other critical interventions as necessary.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately in the medical records system.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
