Job Summary

Medical Surgical with Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Red Bud, Illinois. This night shift role involves providing patient care in a facility with a patient ratio of 5-6:1, operating under a LPN staffing model with one RN and two LPNs for the night shift. The position is a contract assignment starting as soon as possible, focusing on quality patient care and adapting to a dynamic healthcare environment.

  • Schedule:

    12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 08/24/2026
  • Required Qualifications:

    Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Associate Degree or Certificate, minimum of 3 years of experience; 2 completed travel assignments. Charting experience required with Medhost system; training will be provided.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    Resilient candidates who manage change well, social skills, ability to work hard.
  • Additional Information:
    This role requires adaptability to a night shift environment and the ability to work with a team within a LPN staffing model. Scrub colors are flexible. Candidates must have completed two travel assignments. COVID and flu vaccination requirements include religious or medical declinations. GSA hours are not guaranteed during orientation week, but set hours are guaranteed outside of holidays when the unit may be closed.
