Registered Nurse - Float - Days

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing and compliance with the Nurse Practice Act of the state of Illinois regarding professional nursing.
• Current license with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation.
• CPR certification
• ACLS encouraged
• EPIC EMR experience preferred

Hamilton Memorial Hospital District has an immediate need for a full-time Registered Nurse that will float between the Med/Surg unit and the Emergency Department. At HMHD our mission is to enhance the delivery of healthcare to our community and the surrounding area by providing accessible quality healthcare services.

WAGE SCALE: $31.55 - $45.43 per hour

JOB SUMMARY:

• Performs the primary functions of a registered nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of all assigned patients ages newborn thru geriatric and delivery of same care by all nursing staff assigned to health care team.
• Is responsible for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment on the unit they are assigned and for promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.
• Is responsible for meeting the established standards of nursing care.
