In this role, you’ll work closely with nurses and caregivers to support residents in a long-term care setting. We’re looking for team members who take pride in delivering respectful, patient-centered care and who value teamwork, consistency, and professionalism.
What You’ll Do- Assist residents with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help with transfers, mobility assistance, and repositioning
- Support meal service, hydration, and resident comfort
- Monitor and record vital signs and report concerns to nursing staff
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents
- Follow infection prevention and resident care guidelines
- Accurately document care and observations
- Active Illinois CNA certification
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work every other weekend
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Caring attitude with a resident-first mindset
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab is a plus, but not required
