Pro Care Wellness Institute is expanding our Mobile Advanced Wound Care Team and is looking for a compassionate Nurse Practitioner who wants a rewarding career with exceptional work-life balance.

Our structured onboarding includes:

• Four days of hands-on clinical training
• Three days of virtual education
• Ride-alongs with experienced providers
• One-on-one Clinical and administrative director support
• Ongoing mentorship

Our goal is to help experienced Nurse Practitioners confidently transition into one of healthcare’s fastest-growing specialties.

As a Mobile Wound Care Nurse Practitioner, you’ll provide advanced wound management for patients in their homes throughout the Virginia Beach region.

You’ll evaluate, diagnose and treat complex wounds while working collaboratively with physicians and our multidisciplinary team.

Treatments may include:

• Chronic wound evaluation
• Pressure injuries
• Diabetic foot ulcers
• Venous ulcers
• Surgical wounds
• Skin tears
• Advanced dressings
• Debridement (training provided)
• Biologic wound therapies

Current Virginia Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license

Strong clinical assessment skills

Excellent communication and patient education

Comfortable working independently

Experience in one or more of the following is highly preferred:

• ICU
• Critical Care
• ER
• PACU
• Wound Care
• Long Term Care Facilities
• Home Health
• Internal Medicine

New to wound care? We encourage experienced clinicians from acute care backgrounds to apply.
