Du Quoin Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Preventionist to join our clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys problem-solving, educating others, identifying trends, and making an impact throughout the entire facility.
Competitive PayRegistered Nurse (RN): $33.00–$35.00/hour
Plus:
- $0.10/hour for each year of verified experience, up to 20 years
- +$0.75/hour for on-call responsibilities

As our Infection Preventionist, you'll lead and support infection prevention efforts throughout the facility while working closely with nursing leadership and the interdisciplinary team.
- Oversee the facility's Infection Prevention & Control Program
- Conduct infection surveillance, tracking, reporting, and trend analysis
- Educate and support staff on infection prevention practices
- Monitor infection control practices throughout the facility
- Support compliance with applicable infection prevention requirements
- Participate in quality improvement and survey readiness initiatives
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to promote positive resident outcomes
- Provide on-call support as assigned
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Infection Prevention experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to educate and support staff
- Commitment to resident safety and quality care
