Registered NURSE; RN; Night Shift Emergency Department

* NATURE OF WORK Fairfield Memorial Hospital is looking for a compassionate, dedicated Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department who shares our commitment to exceptional patient care. The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care, coordinates care planning with other disciplines, and ensures optimal patient outcomes.

This role requires strong clinical skills, compassion, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver direct patient care, including assessments, monitoring, and documentation.

Accurately triage patients and respond to emergent situations.

Administer medications and IV therapies safely and effectively.

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.

Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and follow‑up care.

Supervise and orient Emergency Department Technicians and new staff.

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices.

Participate in performance improvement initiatives and provide quarterly updates on departmental action plans.

Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and respect for diverse patient needs.

COMPENSATION: $34.00 – $46.50 per hour + Shift Differential
