Schedule & Availability- Standard
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM - Emergency Call‑Outs: Must be available for mandatory call‑outs outside normal business hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays for community emergencies such as:
- Snow & Ice Removal (plowing and salting)
- Storm Damage Cleanup (debris and roadway clearing)
- Water & Sewer Emergencies
- Infrastructure Emergencies
$19-$20
Duties / ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
Infrastructure Maintenance: Repair and maintain city streets, sidewalks, and storm sewers.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate city equipment including snowplows, salt spreader, dump trucks, chainsaws, mowers, backhoe, sewer vac machine, and any other equipment (as assigned).
Landscaping & Grounds: Perform mowing, brush removal, and seasonal maintenance including snow removal.
Water/Sewer Operation: Assist with keeping all sewer and water lines open and working, installing water/sewer lines, turning residents’ water on and off as needed
Days per week: Monday - Friday
Shift: 1st Shift
QualificationsQualifications & Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Prior experience operating heavy equipment preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $19-$20 per hour
Employment Type: Full‑Time
