Overview
We practice out of a recently constructed, 10,000 square ft. facility using state‑of‑the‑art diagnostics and up‑to‑date software. But at Sports Vet Animal Medical Center
, it’s really the people inside that count. Our doctors and support staff make the Sports Vet experience so special! Each of our DVMs provides a unique perspective and learning experience. Each day will be different, hands‑on, and likely full of laughs. We work hard but truly enjoy what we do.
Students will work closely with the supervising veterinarian to gain experience in gathering patient histories, performing physical exams, creating treatment plans, diagnostics, dentistry services, observing/assisting or performing surgical procedures, and medical management of patients. In addition to practicing their clinical skills, student externs will have the opportunity to practice their communication skills with the medical team, support staff, and clients.
