Experienced Dog & Cat Groomer – Part-Time | Southern Illinois.

Four Pretty Paws Mobile Pet Spa is growing in Southern Illinois, and we're looking for an experienced dog AND cat groomer to join our team.

This is a unique part-time, 30-hour-per-week position with a consistent three-day schedule:

Monday | Tuesday | Saturday.

Three 10-hour days per week.

No mobile grooming experience is required. We'll train you on everything you need to make a successful transition to mobile grooming.

Instead of working in a crowded salon with multiple pets, ringing phones, interruptions and competing demands, you'll work one-on-one with each pet right outside the client's home.

You'll typically groom 4–6 pets per day, travel between appointments in your company-provided mobile grooming spa, and develop relationships with clients who value the convenience and personalized care we provide.

Our office team takes care of booking appointments, client calls, scheduling and route logistics so you can concentrate on delivering an exceptional groom.

Many members of our team transitioned from traditional salons and discovered how much they enjoy the independence and one-on-one environment of mobile grooming.

Cat grooming is an important part of this Southern Illinois position.

The right candidate must be comfortable and experienced grooming both dogs and cats and understand the different handling, temperament and grooming needs of feline clients.

If you're an experienced cat groomer, we want to hear from you.

• Professional experience grooming both dogs AND cats.
• Minimum 2+ years of professional grooming experience
  ; 3+ years preferred.
• Completed coursework at a certified grooming academy.
• Available to work Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays.
• Comfortable working three approximately 10-hour days per week.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Clean criminal background.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Genuine love for animals and pride in the quality of your work.
