Are you a Certified Veterinary Technician looking for a supportive, long-standing team that truly values balance, loyalty, and collaboration?

Sandwich Veterinary Hospital is a small animal general practice that follows Fear Free and Cat Friendly principles, and we’re looking for a skilled and compassionate CVT to join our close-knit team.

About Us

For over 30 years, we’ve proudly served our small-town community and its loyal clients—many of whom have trusted us for generations.

Our team is made up of dedicated professionals with incredible longevity. Several of our CSRs and veterinary assistants have been with us for 20–30 years, which speaks to the supportive culture, flexibility, and strong focus on work-life balance that defines our hospital.

We also love giving back, partnering with a local shelter to provide exams for adopted pets.

Our newly promoted Hospital Manager has been part of the team for 13 years and is passionate about thoughtful leadership, listening to the team, supporting individual growth, and creating positive change.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician with at least 1 year of experience and a passion for quality medicine and client care.

Key skills include:

  • Anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
  • Dental procedures (prophy, charting, assisting with radiographs)
  • Client communication — confidently educating clients on treatments and vaccines

If you enjoy working collaboratively, love learning, and want to be part of a hospital that feels like home, we’d love to meet you.

Schedule & Compensation
  • Schedule: 30+ hours/week, including Saturdays
  • Pay: $20–$25/hour (based on experience)
  • Full benefits package
  • 6 paid holidays
  • Eligible for a periodic bonus
  • Continuing education allowance + license reimbursement
  • Ongoing training opportunities (including NVA Pet One Training Center)
