Chemist

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency in the operation and functionality of key analytical laboratory equipment.
• Collaborate with equipment vendors to commission analytical instruments and ensure compliance with site requirements.
• Create and update analytical test methods in accordance with established site standards.
• Lead assigned analytical laboratory projects to support operational and continuous‑improvement objectives.

• Minimum of one (2) year of experience in an analytical or manufacturing laboratory environment.

• Experience with laboratory equipment commissioning, including setup, verification, documentation, and readiness for routine use.
• Experience developing or refining analytical test methods, ensuring accuracy, repeatability, and alignment with laboratory standards.
• Familiarity with GMP rules and regulations, with the ability to follow compliance requirements and maintain proper documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and drive projects to completion through planning, coordination, and effective execution.

• A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry, or a closely related scientific field, is strongly recommended.
• Equivalent practical laboratory experience and demonstrated chemical knowledge will be considered in lieu of a degree.
