• Maintain West Star Aviation’s quality standards by inspecting technician work, performing "ok to close" decisions, and auditing.
• Ensure proper sign‑offs in Corridor as part of the inspection process.
• Participate in daily review meetings.
• Assist with airframe inspections.
• Follow up with all departments to get steps signed off, inspected, and closed so airframe squawks can be completed.
• Help manage the Equipment Removal and Installation Log.
• Assist the QA Department with log research issues to help clear items under review.
• Maintain daily contact at aircraft with Team Leaders to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain customer‑oriented work habits.
• Effectively and clearly communicate (speak, write, read) in English.
• Complete any other job‑related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A&P License or Repairman Certificate (required).
• Inspection Authorization (IA) rating is recommended.
• Valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport (ideal but not required).

• Familiarity with all facets of aircraft maintenance manuals.
• Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations.
• At least 3 years of turbine aircraft inspection experience with return‑to‑service authority (required).
• Customer service experience is recommended.
• Demonstrated ability to follow company rules and FAA regulations during performance of duties.
• Experience maintaining customer‑oriented work habits for oneself and the department.

• Self‑motivated and able to perform in a fast‑paced environment with specific deadlines.
• Detail oriented, accurate, and able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
• Team player with strong collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritize and control workload.
• Communicative with management and personnel regarding data needs.

• Lift and carry at least 25 lbs.
• Bend, reach, and stoop when around aircraft.
• Sit at a desk and/or computer for extended intervals.
• Routine walking.

• The majority of work will be performed in a hangar environment that can include hot and cold temperatures.
• Some occasional work outside hangars may occur.

• Computer systems including Corridor Aviation Service software.
• Personal computers operating with Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and various other programs.

• Hourly rate generally ranges between $32-$48; actual rate may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
• Shift differential available for alternate shift assignments.
