Master Brand, the leading manufacturer of residential cabinets in North America, seeks a Quality Supervisor.

Position Summary

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading the day‑to‑day activities of the Quality Department within Master Brand. This position ensures products and processes meet established quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations while promoting a culture of safety, continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence. The Quality Supervisor leads quality auditors, partners closely with production and engineering teams, and drives corrective actions to reduce defects, improve customer satisfaction, and support plant performance goals.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and develop Quality Auditors and other assigned quality personnel.
  • Provide daily directions, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Ensure consistent execution of inspection standards and quality procedures across all manufacturing areas.
  • Promote accountability and ownership for quality throughout the facility.
  • Support succession planning and employee development within the quality function.
  • Ensure products meet company specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards.
  • Lead incoming, in‑process, and final quality inspections.
  • Maintain compliance with quality management systems, audit requirements, and documented procedures.
  • Support internal, external, customer, and certification audits.
  • Ensure appropriate control of non‑conforming materials and products.
  • Lead investigations into quality concerns, customer complaints, and manufacturing defects.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis using structured problem‑solving methods.
  • Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, rework, warranty claims, and defects.
  • Utilize quality data and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Materials, and Customer Care teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Support new product launches, process changes, and manufacturing improvements.
  • Participate in daily management activities and plant tier meetings.
  • Communicate quality performance, trends, and improvement initiatives to leadership teams.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure associates follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
  • Immediately address unsafe conditions and behaviors.
  • Monitor and report key quality performance indicators.
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation and records.
  • Present quality performance updates to plant leadership.
Schedule

Day Shift Monday‑Thursday. Additional overtime is required.

Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing quality experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Ability to interpret specifications, drawings, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Cabinet, furniture, wood products, or discrete manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting customer audits and regulatory compliance requirements.

Compensation Range

$61,700.00‑96,910.00 (Actual pay will vary based on qualifications and other factors)
