We are looking for an enthusiastic Training Coordinator to educate and enhance the competencies of individual employees by designing and conducting training programs. The Training Coordinator will work across the company to design an employee development strategy and process that will consistently increase ITA skill base, retain those skills to meet customer expectations and support continuous improvement. A successful candidate must be proficient in Compliance & EHS Programs as well as performing training needs assessments, designing and delivering the curriculum and learning materials and assess training effectiveness .

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain training records for all employees.
  • Maintain Training Needs Assessments for all employees.
  • Construct training plans, design and develop training programs for all employees, and all departments.
  • Conduct organization wide needs assessments and identify the skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
  • Design and prepare educational aids and materials (e.g. presentations, worksheets, seminars)
  • Choose appropriate training methods (simulations, mentoring, on the job training, development classes, etc.)
  • Execute training sessions and workshops, both in groups and individually
  • Produce training schedules and classroom agendas
  • Ability to support all shifts.
  • Assess and rate instructional effectiveness, determine the impact of training on employee skills and how it affects KPIs/Quality Objectives
  • Provide direction, assistance and support for corrective actions and recommendations to assure continuous improvements.
  • Create a culture of enthusiasm for an injury-free workplace by demonstrating an honest and genuine passion for safety.
  • Identify trends and action plans for corrective actions through CAR’s (Corrective Action Reports) and SCARs (Safety Corrective Action Reports.).
  • Work directly with all departments regarding process design and implementation
ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Excellent organization and time management skills (ability to set and meet deadlines)
  • Ability to develop effective relationships, provide leadership, and integrate diverse functions and individuals toward objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) with all levels of staff, management, and customers
  • Above average proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Power Point)
  • Demonstrate a high level of Business Acumen: maturity, self-motivation, and team-orientation with the ability to exhibit and exercise sound judgment.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive materials and information.
  • Familiarity with AIAG, automotive Core Tools, IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards is desirable. Experience with quality management system (QMS) document control is helpful.
  • Any other duties as required by the company.
Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • AS Degree preferred
  • HR & EHS experience preferred
  • 3-5 years manufacturing experience
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

1. Be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

2. Ability to wear proper safety gear/PPE as needed.

3. Repetitive standing, bending, turning, and twisting for extended periods of time.

4. Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach at arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.

5. Must be able to pass drug/alcohol test and background screen.

6. Use of both hands, arms, and shoulders (full range of motion)

7. Must be able to work around EMF and ultrasonic waves safely.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when ITA and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
