Brookside Properties is hiring an experienced Community Manager to oversee Moreland Apartments and Drakewood Apartments in Portland, TN. These are USDA Rural Development communities
, making affordable housing experience essential for this role.

• USDA Rural Development property management experience required
• Minimum 2 years of multifamily property management experience
• Strong understanding of affordable housing compliance
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Entrata experience is a plus
• Ability to manage occupancy, collections, leasing, and financial goals

• Oversee daily operations at Moreland and Drakewood Apartments
• Maintain compliance with USDA Rural Development requirements
• Manage leasing, occupancy, collections, and resident relations
• Coordinate marketing and resident retention efforts
• Supervise and support onsite staff
• Conduct property inspections and follow up on maintenance needs
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial performance
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Build positive relationships with residents, vendors, and team members
