Lab Technician III (Bioanalytical Scientist)
The Bioanalytical group is looking for an experienced Bioanalytical Scientist/Lab Technician to perform routine and non-routine analysis as well as formulation work within the group. The ideal candidate will have experience with various bioanalytical and physical tests including SEC, CEX, HIC and RP-HPLC, Karl Fischer, UV, IR and fluorescence spectroscopy, visual evaluations such as color and clarity, pH, viscosity, density, and visible and sub-visible particle testing techniques.
Experience analyzing and interpreting bioanalytical data and working with project teams is a plus. This position is designed to support scientists with day-to-day laboratory operations while developing technical skills over time. The successful candidate will support multiple scientists across various projects and gradually take on additional technical responsibilities as experience is gained.
- Work with project leads on projects of varying complexity, including routine and non-routine analysis, and generate reliable and consistent results.
- Support multiple scientists across various laboratory projects.
- Prepare laboratory solutions and reagents.
- Perform routine laboratory support activities, including general lab maintenance, laboratory upkeep, glassware cleaning, laboratory organization, inventory management, and ordering laboratory supplies.
- Perform routine wet chemistry testing, protein concentration testing, particle size analysis, and other biologics analytical testing.
- Perform formulation work within the group.
- Perform routine testing and document experiments using an electronic laboratory notebook (eLN).
- Troubleshoot experiments and laboratory instrumentation.
- Learn and understand new experimental techniques.
- Perform HPLC/chromatography work as assigned.
- Analyze and interpret bioanalytical data.
- Follow, understand, and comply with SOPs, cGMP requirements, safety procedures, and applicable policies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.

- Approximately 70–80% laboratory activities and 20–30% documentation and administrative activities
- Required:
Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific discipline. - Preferred:
Master's degree in a related scientific discipline.
- Preferred: 0–5 years of laboratory experience.
- Internship or undergraduate research experience is highly valued.
- Academic laboratory experience is acceptable.
- Recent Bachelor's graduates with strong laboratory experience are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates pursuing a Master's degree part-time may also be considered.
- Hands-on laboratory experience and technical aptitude are more important than years of experience.
