Faculty Research Participant - George Thiruvathukal

George K. Thiruvathukal leads the Software and Systems Laboratory at Loyola University Chicago. His work is at the intersection of computer science, data science, and software engineering with a focus on computer vision at the edge. In the summer project, we will continue to work on large-scale repository mining to understand trustworthiness of machine learning supply chains for pre-trained models.

We also have an existing project focused on energy-efficient visual transformer architectures for computer vision. As ALCF is a great place to work with AI testbeds and emerging architectures and work with large computational and storage resources, it is well-suited to both of these research efforts.
