Team Member, Restaurant​/Food Service

Team Member – 10087 (Pollo Tropical)

Responsible for the completion of a variety of tasks relating to the preparation and service of food to customers, and to the maintenance of a clean and pleasant dining environment.

• Greet and thank customers.
• Place customer food and beverage orders through verbal communication and/or automated systems.
• Relay orders from service counter to kitchen operations.
• Cook, prepare, package and pour food and beverages using kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, cooking vats, ice machines, food processors, and other smallwares while following proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Stock kitchen and customer service operations.
• Stock salsa bars.
• Fill orders in the coordinated kitchen and customer service operations.
• Collect payments and give proper change via cash register.
• Unload deliveries of food, beverage, packaging and serving materials.
• Clean interior and exterior of restaurant premises, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, rinsing and polishing tables, seats, windows, doors, countertops, kitchenware and equipment.
• Observe alcoholic beverage laws when applicable.
• Maintain safe public access to the restaurant.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

• Adapt to performing multiple tasks and changing assignments.
• Communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Speak English.
• Learn POS cash register, kitchen screens, recipes.
• Physical:
  Stand, walk, talk, use hands to handle, reach, grasp, carry items. Lift weight 25-50 pounds.

Moderate to high noise level. Variety of conditions depending on season, day, time.
