• Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus and dietary requirements
• Ensure proper food portioning, quality, and presentation standards
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines
• Assist with meal service and tray preparation
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including equipment and work areas
• Support daily kitchen operations and collaborate with team members
• Help ensure residents receive meals that meet their nutritional needs and preferences

• Previous cooking or food service experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
• Reliable attendance, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills
