The Food Runner is responsible for creating an excellent dining experience for each City Gate Grille guest through positive personal interaction and timely service. The ideal candidate has a confident demeanor and embodies the spirit of hospitality. The ideal candidate is able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities- Works as part of a cohesive front of house team to provide quality service.
- Responsible for keeping the pace of service.
- Removes items and cleans dining room tables in a timely manner according to protocol.
- Prompt and correct delivery of food orders to the dining room tables as necessary.

- Illinois Food Handler Certification is preferred.
- One year of related restaurant experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
- Neat and clean appearance.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work nights weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to walk and stand for up to 8 hours a day, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill job duties
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs regularly, and up to 50 pounds on occasion.
