Assistant Store Manager

We are a small franchise with 10–15 employees. We are looking for a self‑motivated, organized, hardworking individual who wishes to grow with our company and have fun while doing it. This role assists the General Manager with day‑to‑day store operations and requires strong team‑building skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the General Manager with day‑to‑day store operations.
  • Lead and develop the team of 10–15 employees.
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and standards are followed.
  • Manage scheduling, staffing, and inventory as required.
  • Represent the store in customer and community interactions.
Requirements
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Food Handler’s License preferred.
  • Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to work 35–50 hours per week.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Team‑building and leadership skills.
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) and basic math/book‑keeping skills.
  • High‑school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum two years in the food industry and two years of management experience preferred.
  • Age 18+.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Insured vehicle that meets company safety standards.
  • Ability to provide a recent MVR from the DMV.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand for long periods.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs, bend, reach, push, and pull.
  • Squat, climb, and balance as needed.
  • Handle extreme temperatures (oven, cooler, outdoor).
  • Repeat hand use and repetitive motions.
  • Work with chemical cleaners (de‑greaser, mop solution, sanitizer).
