Location: Oklahoma Rt 66 Museum; 2229 West Gary Boulevard Clinton, OK

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours:

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; not to exceed 19 hours per week

Position Type: Part Time – Temporary

Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $13.14/hour

End Date: Refer to the date listed at the top of this posting, if available. Continuous if date is blank.

• Staffs gift shop desk
• Handles direct sales to the public, including operation of the cash register and credit card machines
• Maintain positive relations with visitors, being courteous, respectful, and exercising flexibility to best serve the public during all work activities
• Assists with ordering, inventory, pricing, and merchandising of stock for gift shop
• Manage backstock and storeroom
• Gives visitors an introduction to the museum
• Gives guided tours as needed
• Helps plan and present programs and special events
• This position requires a work schedule that includes weekends and extended hours during the summer and during special events
• Being present at the office is an essential function of the job
• Other duties as assigned

• Demonstrates knowledge of and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior
• Works effectively in a team environment, participating and assisting peers

High School Diploma or GED
