Store Manager In Training (SMIT) – CVS Health

We aim to provide a supportive training program to develop future Store Managers. The SMIT program is a 16‑week self‑paced, collaborative training designed to prepare candidates for a Store Manager role.

• Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences to support your path to promotion during the structured program.
• Support your store as a management team member and lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies.
• Engage colleagues in support of the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
• Assist with customer service duties to provide high levels of service.
• Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
• Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.

• High school diploma or GED (required). A four‑year college degree is preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree.
• Retail management experience or prior experience as a CVS Supervisor.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs.
• Willingness to accept promotion to Store Manager role at any location in the designated market and ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within that market.

• Pay range: $18.50 – $28.67 per hour (base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary)
