Freight Broker (On-Site | LATAM Markets)

Locations:
Lima, Peru;
Buenos Aires, Argentina; Córdoba, Argentina;
Ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala;
Tegucigalpa, Honduras;
San Pedro Sula, Honduras

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Freight Brokers to manage the full brokerage cycle, including business development, client management, and shipment execution. This role suits professionals who excel in fast‑paced, relationship‑driven environments and are motivated by performance, ownership, and growth. Candidates must already have an active book of business, client portfolio, or proprietary database.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Build, maintain, and grow client relationships
  • Negotiate rates with carriers and secure capacity
  • Coordinate shipments from pricing through delivery
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and carriers
  • Manage margins and ensure profitable load execution
Qualifications:

Experience
  • Minimum 2+ years in a freight brokerage environment
  • Proven industry relationships
  • Experience managing a book of business
  • Exposure to client management/business development and carrier coordination/shipment execution
Skills
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Excellent negotiation abilities with clients and carriers
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities
  • Commercial mindset focused on results and growth
English Requirements
  • Advanced English proficiency; comfortable communicating with U.S.‑based clients
Work Environment
  • On‑site role

Compensation
  • Base salary: $1,900–$2,500 per month
  • Unlimited commission structure (uncapped earnings)
  • Additional earning opportunities based on production and growth
Schedule
  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM CST; shorter day on Friday
  • Flexibility may be required depending on shipments and client needs
