Science Intern, Environmental Compliance

Location: Nokomis

Job Description Assist and support current Environmental team with projects, while learning and gaining experience in environmental compliance with federal and state laws and regulations. This position will provide an opportunity for growth and learning how environmental regulations and evolving policy changes affect the business and how businesses work to mitigate the potential impacts of their operations on the environment and improve sustainability practices within the fenestration industry.
The intern will have the opportunity to work on projects involving compliance with greenhouse gas emissions and climate risk laws, extended producer responsibility policies, and PFAS regulation, and gain exposure to the quickly evolving environmental regulatory landscape at the State level and how the business must adapt and respond.

Requirements
· Enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree program in environmental policy, environmental science, or a related field.
· Entry-level experience with Excel
