Lab Research Chemist/Physicist/Engineer I

Our client, a leading organization in the scientific and manufacturing industry, is seeking a Lab Research Chemist/Physicist/Engineer I to join their dedicated team. As a Lab Research Chemist/Physicist/Engineer I, you will be part of the Analytical Laboratory supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives. Location:

Cordova, Illinois

Pay Range: 25-30/hr

• Develop proficiency in the operation and functionality of key analytical laboratory equipment
• Collaborate with equipment vendors to commission analytical instruments and ensure compliance with site requirements
• Create and update analytical test methods in accordance with established site standards
• Lead assigned analytical laboratory projects to support operational and continuous-improvement objectives
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to GMP rules and regulations

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an analytical or manufacturing laboratory environment
• Experience with laboratory equipment commissioning, including setup, verification, documentation, and readiness for routine use
• Experience developing or refining analytical test methods, ensuring accuracy, repeatability, and alignment with laboratory standards
• Familiarity with GMP rules and regulations, with the ability to follow compliance requirements and maintain proper documentation
• Educational background with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific field; equivalent practical laboratory experience and demonstrated chemical knowledge will also be considered
