Description

This role supports the department by performing administrative tasks, managing visitors, ensuring safety, addressing incidents, and maintaining facility operations.

• Assist the immediate supervisor with various administrative tasks, including special projects.
• Perform supportive tasks that are essential to the job, which may be altered or redesigned depending on circumstances.
• Complete other duties as assigned, including monitoring and directing visitors to the unit or assigned area.
• Follow facility emergency procedures and ensure staff compliance, assist with fire safety protocols, and conduct routine safety checks.
• Assist floor staff with behavior management.
• Report all incidents and issues to the Security Manager, QMHP, House Manager, and Administration.
• Identify maintenance issues and submit maintenance requests.
• Monitor consumers leaving the facility and verify the applicable Pass Level (e.g., Pass Level A/C).
• Respond appropriately to real‑time incidents or emergencies, emergency drills, and active alarm situations.
• Patrol the interior perimeter of the facility to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks, and undesirable conditions.
• Use appropriate CPI techniques when necessary, and return immediately to the assigned post after completion.

• Must possess a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must possess valid CPR certification.
• Must maintain valid CPI certification.
• PERC card preferred.
