• Night shifts including every Saturday and every other Sunday and holiday requirements.

General Responsibilities

As a Security Officer at Mercy One, you will provide a physical presence to prevent and detect adverse conditions that could place the safety and security of the hospital environment at risk while protecting patient, visitor, staff welfare and facility assets. You will interact with a variety of people inside or outside the organization. Communications are often difficult or stressful. The job requires a high degree of interpersonal skills to deal with a range of complicated problem situations and gain agreement of others.

General Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic Life Support and CPR within 60 days
• Law enforcement or criminal justice coursework preferred

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent

Compensation

Pay Range: $17.04 – $24.70 per hour. Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements and comparable roles.
