Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support daily site operations through professional communication and customer service. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, screen visitors and deliveries, and maintain visitor logs and other access records in accordance with site requirements.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with attention to restricted areas, gates, fencing, and other access-sensitive points.

+ Support security-related operations by reporting hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns that could impact access control, daily operations, and/or emergency procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
