Safety & Security Officer

Job Overview

Hourly Rate: $33.84. Hourly Wage: $33.84. Job Status:
Casual (0-19 hours per week). Seeking a Safety & Security Officer to support guests and staff at MVW and ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

• Patrol all areas of the property by foot or vehicle using specified equipment (e.g., flashlight, high visibility jacket).
• Administer first aid/CPR to owners/guests or associates as required.
• Ensure owners/guests and meeting rooms are secure and assist with room access.
• Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV), perimeter alarm systems, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems.
• Respond to accidents and determine if emergency aid is required.
• Defuse disturbances/altercations following company policies and procedures.
• Handle lost and found, logging and returning items.
• Utilize computer systems, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer the phone with proper etiquette.
• Oversee OSHA & FLS violations to mitigate risks throughout the property.
• Welcome and greet guests; anticipate and address their needs.
• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contribute to team goals and always follow company policies and safety procedures.

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and weekend days.
• Capable of reaching overhead and below the knees, performing bending, twisting, pulling, stooping; able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Background and drug screening may be required based on company policy and legal requirements.
• Specific duties may differ by property, team size, or facility.
