Security Officer: Pool

Job Summary

Healthcare security officers are expected to respond to alarms, emergency requests, and use verbal de-escalation skills to resolve safety incidents. They are also expected to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling private information, along with presenting strong customer service. At times, healthcare security guards will be required to effectively manage agitated or aggressive patients or visitors.

PRN (As Needed – only guaranteed one 12-hour shift per calendar month)

Immediately

$17.30/hour (Actual wage based on relevant experience)

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to motivate, educate, and supervise personnel.
• Demonstrates willingness to cooperate with other departments.

• Security, or law enforcement experience preferred.

Regularly able to see and hear, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, use arms and hands, handle objects, tools, and controls, and sit. Occasionally able to lift and move 50 pounds, and physically restrain/hold aggressive patients under the supervision of medical staff.
