Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Coverage in East Alton, IL – as a part‑time security officer you will serve and safeguard clients in manufacturing and industrial industries. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication.

• Sat 08:00 PM – 08:00 AM
• Sun 08:00 PM – 08:00 AM

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, document observations, and report security‑related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity and deterring unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed by site policies, and support visitor, contractor, and delivery processing per location requirements.
• Communicate with employees, visitors, and site representatives regarding security procedures, escalating maintenance issues, hazards, and suspicious activity through proper channels.

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all applicable laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
