Location: Scott Air Force Base
Duties
* Identify information security risks to ensure Command business systems and information assets remain protected in accordance with cybersecurity, privacy, and governance requirements.
* DoD and Army cybersecurity risk management practices to maintain compliance and strengthen the organization's security posture.
* Develop contract documentation and performance reports to support acquisition activities and monitor contractor compliance, violations, and deficiencies.
* Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing, to evaluate system security and recommend corrective actions. Requirements Conditions of employment

* This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
* Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Practitioner Career Level II, in the Acquisition Career Field Program Management within 60 months of entrance on duty.
* One year trial/probationary period may be required.
* This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
* The incumbent of this position is required to submit pre-employment financial statement disclosure (OGE 450) and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R. Experience:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes:
1. Evaluate projects for overall progress such as costs and schedules;
2. Apply technical standards for software engineering, enterprise architecture, and cybersecurity within the software development cycle;
3. Monitor projects for compliance with contractual deliverable guidelines;
4. Prepare technical documentation for contractor performance and compliance reporting. The specialized experience must include, or be supplemented by, information technology related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training, as appropriate) which demonstrates each of the four competencies, as defined:
* Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Examples of IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: completing thorough and accurate work independently, even in the most difficult or stressful situations; occasionally reviewing work completed by others.
* Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services;
is committed to providing quality products and services.
