Position OverviewSandy Mac Evolution LLC is seeking an Activity Security Representative II to support Department of Defense Special Access Program activities at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia.
The Activity Security Representative provides multi-disciplined security support to a government facility and organization. The position provides day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and Special Access Program activities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence.
- Maintain document accountability databases and associated records.
- Process classified mail, receipts, courier packages, and correspondence.
- Perform destruction and reproduction of classified materials.
- Maintain document control and security administrative logs.
- Process and maintain visit requests and visitor records.
- Escort visitors and maintain visitor control documentation.
- Assist with preparation and management of facility access badges.
- Conduct entry and exit inspections.
- Maintain personnel security records and associated access information.
- Review, track, and monitor security clearance processing activities.
- Participate in Air Force SAP security compliance inspections.
- Prepare and review Program Access Requests for accuracy and eligibility.
- Conduct DCII, JPAS, and SAPNP reviews of personnel nominated for SAP access.
- Perform record checks and maintain customer-sponsored personnel access data.
- Conduct personnel indoctrinations.
- Support security awareness and education programs.
- Follow and enforce applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
- 3–5 years of related experience.
- SAP experience required.
- Experience supporting personnel security, information security, document control, physical security, visitor control, or SAP security functions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately manage classified records and access documentation.
- Ability to interact effectively with government, military, contractor, and senior-level personnel.
- A Bachelor’s degree counts as four years of experience.
- An Associate’s degree in a related area counts as two years of experience.
- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification counts toward one year of experience.
- Special Program Security Certification counts toward one year of experience.
- Maximum equivalent experience for SPED certifications is three years.
- One year of experience may be credited for each separate SPED certification, not to exceed three years total.
- Must complete DoD SAPCO-approved SAPNP training if performing personnel security functions.
- Active Top Secret clearance required.
- Must possess or be eligible for SCI access.
- Must be eligible for access to Special Access Program information.
- Must be willing to submit to a Counterintelligence Polygraph.
