Job SummaryAs an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will perform mechanical tasks, troubleshoot systems, and maintain high‑quality standards on some of the world’s most sophisticated civilian aircraft.
Responsibilities- Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
- Remove and install panels and components.
- Troubleshoot and problem‑solve aircraft system/component issues.
- De‑fuel aircraft.
- Execute engine removal/installations.
- Operate ground support equipment.
- Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
- Assist with aircraft movement, performance runs and taxiing.
- Maintain and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling.
- Navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
- Communicate effectively in English (speak, write, read).
- Perform any other job‑related duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal but not mandatory.
Licenses & CertificationsAirframe or Powerplant pilot license required;
Airframe preferred.
- 0–2 years experience in aviation maintenance, avionics, or similar.
- Limited to moderate knowledge of general maintenance; requires close supervision.
- 2–4 years experience in aviation maintenance.
- Experience on corporate aircraft preferred.
- Requires general supervision on routine maintenance.
- 4–6+ years experience in aviation maintenance.
- Experience on corporate aircraft highly preferred.
- Full knowledge of general, detailed and special assignments.
- 6+ years experience in aviation maintenance.
- Extensive experience on corporate aircraft platforms.
- Subject‑matter expert in all areas of the job.
- Self‑motivated team player in a fast‑paced environment.
- Able to meet deadlines and work under specific time constraints.
- Attend work every day as scheduled, including overtime and weekend assignments.
- Notify supervisor in advance if unable to work.
- Reliable transportation to commute to work.
- Follow FAA guidelines, company safety rules, and maintain customer‑oriented work habits.
- Lifts 50 lbs.; routine walking, bending and squatting or sitting.
- Routine or repetitive motion with arms and hands.
- Climb ladders and stairs; work in small restricted areas.
- Stand for long periods.
- Understand and implement regulations and guidelines.
- Troubleshoot or evaluate system operation.
- Work professionally with others.
Work under supervision of assigned Team Leader and Director of Maintenance; may supervise other technicians.
Environment: hangar with extreme temperature variations; occasional outside work; varied positions around aircraft.
Equipment UsedPersonal hand tools, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical equipment, jacks, stands, lifts, tugs, power carts and engine‑powered equipment.
Compensation & BenefitsHourly rate $30–$46 with shift differential for alternate shifts. Additional compensation includes semi‑annual discretionary bonus, 401(k) company match, health savings account and more.
