Building & Grounds Caretaker

Location: Hennepin

Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure the cleaning of the exterior and interior of buildings is completed according to facility requirements.

Prepare surfaces to be painted by scraping; using commercial paint removers; filling cracks and holes; and sanding.

Knowledge of basic painting supplies and equipment.

Operate high-pressure cleaning equipment to wash buildings.

Follow proper equipment procedures when utilizing power tools to prevent property damage.

Notify the manager concerning the need for repairs to buildings.

Maintain cleaning equipment in a safe, clean working order.

Understand and adhere to all company safety procedures and participate in regular periodic Environmental, Health, and Safety training.

Qualifications

High School Diploma

Landscaping, masonry, or construction experience is preferred

Physical Requirements

Able to climb ladders and stairs and lift up to 100lbs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee frequently is required to talk or hear.

Compensation & Benefits

The starting wage for this position is $25/hour, with potential adjustments based on skills, experience and qualifications.
