Solar Field Wire Management Technician - Per Diem

Job Overview

Trillium Construction is hiring Solar Field Wire Management Technicians in the Morrison, IL area. This project begins June 22, 2026 and is expected to last 40+ days. Additional projects are scheduled in Virginia immediately following this assignment, providing the opportunity for more than six months of continuous work for qualified personnel.

Pay: $25–$27 per hour depending on experience.

Per Diem: $770 per week.

Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 10‑hour shifts.

Duration: 40+ days with another project scheduled after.

• Perform wire management activities throughout the solar field.
• Work ahead of remediation crews to protect solar wiring and equipment.
• Lift, secure, and temporarily reposition wire harnesses above tracker posts.
• Use zip ties and approved methods to keep wiring clear of grinding operations.
• Inspect wiring and hardware for damage or deficiencies.
• Report damaged wiring, connectors, or equipment to supervision.
• Assist with material staging and general project support as needed.
• Follow all electrical safety procedures and project-specific work practices.

• OSHA 10
• NFPA 70E
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
• First Aid/CPR

• N95 respirator required while working in active remediation areas.
• FR clothing required at all times while performing wire management activities.
• Must comply with NFPA 70E requirements and all site electrical safety procedures.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
