West Star Aviation Academy (WSAA) offers a full-time paid apprenticeship in East Alton, IL, to learn aviation maintenance and pursue an FAA Airframe license. The program runs 7.5 months on-site, after which graduates become licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technicians employed by West Star Aviation.
Apprentices live regionally during the academy and attend with mentorship and hands-on training in collaboration with Southwestern Illinois College and Choose Aerospace.
