Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: Roanoke

Picture your day: you arrive on the floor before the first product rolls out, scan the maintenance queue, and prioritize a blend of preventative tasks and rapid-response fixes. By mid-morning you’ve swapped a worn bearing, traced a sensor fault through a control panel, and aligned a rebuilt pump. After lunch, you complete a scheduled lubrication route, document your work, and brief operators and your supervisor on improvement ideas that cut future downtime.

That’s a typical day for our Industrial Equipment Reliability Technician—keeping production safe, steady, and efficient.

What You’ll Tackle Drive uptime through routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical assets to reduce unexpected failures.

Diagnose and repair mechanical systems: bearings, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Find and fix electrical issues across motors, sensors, control panels, VFDs, and low- to medium-voltage wiring.

Interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and OEM manuals to pinpoint root causes and plan effective repairs.

Apply lockout/tagout and all safety procedures; keep tools, parts, and work areas orderly and compliant.

Install, adjust, and precisely align new or rebuilt equipment, components, and control devices.

Record work performed, parts consumed, and corrective actions in work orders or the maintenance system.

Communicate equipment status and repair recommendations with supervisors, operators, and teammates.

Also On Your List Perform PM tasks: lubrication, filter changes, and system checks.

Dismantle and reassemble machinery using appropriate hand and power tools.

Participate in training and cross-training to broaden your skill set.

Pitch in on other duties as assigned.
