Drucker + Falk is looking for a dependable, hands‑on Maintenance Technician / Service Technician to join the team at Chimney Top Apartments in Antioch, Tennessee .

If you enjoy troubleshooting problems, working with your hands, and seeing the results of your work at the end of the day, this could be a great opportunity to build your career in property maintenance.

Experience in apartment maintenance, HVAC, facilities maintenance, construction, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, hotel maintenance, residential repair, or another skilled trade can translate well into this position.

HVAC experience is a plus, but you do not need to check every box to apply. We are willing to train the right candidate in areas where additional development is needed.

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll work closely with the Service Manager to help keep our apartments, buildings, grounds, and community operating at their best.

Your work will directly impact the experience of our residents and help make apartments ready for new residents to call home.

Apartment Repairs & Service Requests

Complete maintenance work orders and resident service requests.

Troubleshoot and perform general apartment repairs.

Work toward same-day completion of service requests whenever possible.

Communicate with the Service Manager regarding outstanding repairs and maintenance needs.

Assist with preventative maintenance throughout the community.

Apartment Turns / Make-Ready

Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.

Complete repairs needed before move-in.

Assist with painting and touch-up work when needed.

Help ensure apartments are clean, functional, safe, and move-in ready.

General Maintenance

Depending on your experience, your work may include:

  • HVAC troubleshooting and repair
  • Plumbing repairs
  • Electrical repairs
  • Carpentry
  • Painting
  • Appliance troubleshooting
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Equipment maintenance
  • General building repairs

You do not have to be an expert in every area on Day 1.

We're looking for someone with strong mechanical ability, a willingness to learn, dependability, and pride in their work.

Help Keep the Community Looking Its Best

Inspect the property and identify maintenance or repair needs.

Help keep community grounds and common areas free of litter.

Assist with apartment trash‑outs when needed.

Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, materials, and supplies.

Keep the maintenance shop clean, safe, and organized.

Know the location of emergency water, gas, sewer, and other building shutoffs.

Properly operate and maintain community maintenance equipment.

Assist other team members when needed.

What We're Looking For
  • Required High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • General mechanical or maintenance aptitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Dependable and responsive
  • Professional attitude and commitment to resident service
  • Ability to participate in an occasional rotating on‑call schedule
