Level I = $32.88, Level II = $36.63 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts Available
Electricians (Industrial/Manufacturing) are responsible for performing electrical maintenance and repair tasks. This role supports the maintenance team in ensuring the reliability and safety of electrical systems and equipment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:- Perform routine electrical maintenance tasks, such as replacing fuses, bulbs, and wiring, under the guidance of senior electricians.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues, such as short circuits, faulty wiring, and control panel malfunctions, using technical manuals and schematics.
- Support Preventive Maintenance Technicians in completing electrical PM tasks as needed.
- Conduct visual inspections of electrical systems to identify wear, damage, or potential hazards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols, GMP, and food safety regulations.
- Document maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and time spent, in the CMMS.
- Assist in the installation, setup, and testing of new electrical equipment.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and compliance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in an electrical maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, tools, and equipment.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
