We are seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Technician who takes genuine pride in their trade and is ready to take the next big step in their career. In this pivotal role, you will lead field diagnostic calls, perform high-quality residential maintenance and replacement installs, and uphold quality control across job sites. Beyond technical execution, you will serve as a mentor to junior technicians and apprentices.

This position is critical to our company’s long-term expansion: we are specifically looking for someone with the drive, organization, and leadership capacity to grow into our Service Manager over time.

• Base Salary: $38.00 to $48.00 per hour (based on certifications and dual service/install capabilities)

• On-Target Earnings (OTE): $90,000 – $115,000+ total annual earning potential

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on a wide variety of residential HVAC systems across the North Shore area.
• Present clear, transparent repair vs. replacement options to homeowners on an iPad with complete honesty and zero pushy sales pressure.
• Lead and oversee installation and service projects, ensuring all work strictly meets local codes, manufacturer specifications, and Beck’s quality standards.
• Mentor and guide junior technicians, apprentices, and helpers on field best practices, safety, and troubleshooting.
• Keep your company truck clean, organized, properly stocked, and well-maintained.
• Accurately complete digital service documentation, diagnostic notes, and repair records.
• Maintain manageable, optional on-call rotation schedules while delivering prompt, professional service.

• Experience: 5+ years of verifiable residential HVAC service, diagnostic troubleshooting, and installation experience working at a reputable HVAC shop.
• Certifications: EPA Universal Certification required; NATE Certification strongly preferred.
